Winterization Steps

Proper winterization protects your splash pad system from costly freeze damage. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Turn off the main supply valve to the splash pad.
  2. Open all valves on the manifold, including the drain valve
  3. If the system has a timer or activation post, cycle it several times until all water stops flowing from the drain valve.
  4. Blow out all lines using air pressure (no more than 20 PSI) to ensure no residual water remains:
  • Connect air to the drain valve
  • While blowing out, cycle the timer or activation post (if equipped) to release trapped water.
  • In areas where the frost line is deeper than your piping, thoroughly clearing water from all lines and features is critical

⚠️ CAUTION: Do not pressurize a closed system. At least one valve must remain open while air is connected.
